The following terms & conditions govern the use of this website and outline the legal responsibilities and obligations that shall exist between you and Syl’a’Vie Swimwear.

CONFORMITY OF GOODS
Every care has been taken to describe the items as accurately as possible. However, slight variations may occur due to the photographic and reproduction process.
Where the use of Goods is subject to any instructions, you will need to follow these instructions when caring for the Goods. Syl’a’Vie cannot accept any liability for a failure to comply with specific instructions.
ORDERING
When placing an order, you must ensure that any and all information given is accurate and complete.
Once you have placed an order we will send you an email confirming that your order has been received, but this is not a confirmation that your offer to purchase the goods has been accepted. A contract between you and Syl’a’Vie Swimwear for the sale of our products will only exist once an order has been dispatched to you. A separate email will be sent to you confirming the despatch of the item(s).
All orders are subject to acceptance and product availability.
If for any reason we are unable to fulfil any part of the order, we will notify you as soon as possible. This does not affect your statutory rights.
Prices and availability of goods are subject to change without notice. The advertised delivery charge will be added to your order value unless otherwise stated.
PAYMENT
We accept online payment in a secure environment by credit card, debit card. We currently accept Visa, Mastercard, Visa Delta, Maestro, Visa Electron and Paypal.
All prices are quoted in pounds sterling.
When placing orders, immediate payment is required. Orders subsequently cancelled within a 2 hours frame from placing the order, will be refunded in full.
We aim to protect legitimate payment card and PayPal account holders from fraud and therefore will report to the relevant authorities any person using, or attempting to use, a payment method without apparent authority.
DELIVERY
In the event that an item is temporarily out of stock, we will notify you of the delay and advise you accordingly.
Once you have placed your order, please allow upto 10 working days for it to be made and dispatched. Once your garment(s) is made, we aim to deliver parcels up to 2kg in weight to the UK in just 1-3 working days, Europe in 3 to 5 working days. As for the rest of the world, we aim to deliver in just 5 to 7 working days.
As we are a small business, we can't offer next day delivery as of yet as the garments are handmade by a dedicated team, but it is something we are working towards!
The delivery period stated within which you will receive your order is indicative and, unless otherwise stated, not guaranteed.
Goods will be sent to the address given by you in your order. If you are ordering more than one item, your goods may be sent to you in instalments if certain items are out of stock. In this case, you will only pay a single delivery charge.
If your delivery address is outside of the UK, you may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. You must meet any additional charges for customs clearance. Please note, customs policies vary widely from country to country. We recommend you contact your local customs office for further information. Please note international shipments may be subject to cross-border inspections by customs authorities.
Any claim based on any defect in quantity, quality or condition of the goods must be notified to us within ten days of delivery, after which you will be deemed to have accepted the goods.
We accept no liability for delays in you receiving the order, due to no signature being available at the address provided. Expected date of delivery is estimated and may be subject to change due to adverse conditions.
NON DELIVERY
In the unlikely event of non-delivery of your order, you agree to undertake reasonable steps, as requested by us in order to resolve the situation for you as quickly as possible.
Although every effort will be made by us to ensure that non-delivery issues are resolved as quickly as possible, Royal Mail does not consider delayed items as “lost ” or “missing” for 15 days within the UK, or 30 days overseas. This may result in exceptional circumstances to a delay in replacing or refunding Your order.
REFUSAL OF DELIVERY
If you refuse delivery after your order has been shipped, you are entitled to a refund minus 30% admin fee (30% of total cost, excluding postage) provided the item has been returned in original condition.
Failed delivery attempt outside of the uk
if the delivery was attempted but failed and the order has been sent back to us, the customer can either have the order re-sent out and they must cover the extra shipping costs or you can request for a refund minus 30% admin fee (30% of total cost, excluding postage).
RETURNS
If you're not fully satisfied with your purchase, simply email us at info@sylavieswimwear.com to notify us of your intention to return the items. Please ensure your return package includes a note with your order number.
We ask that you return your items to us within 14 days of receiving your order. Upon receiving the returned items in their original condition, we will process your refund within 28 days. The return address is provided on your shipping label—please use this address to send your return.
For hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns or issue refunds on swimwear if the hygiene seal has been removed or if there are signs of wear.
Please note, we do not provide prepaid return labels. It is the responsibility of the customer to arrange and cover the return shipping costs. We recommend using Royal Mail for UK returns and a reliable courier service for international returns.
Your return must reach us within the 14-day window to be eligible for a refund.
Returning from overseas
If you are returning an item from overseas, please ensure that the customs declaration category is marked as “Returned Goods” to help avoid unnecessary customs fees. Please note that customs regulations may vary depending on your location. Any additional fees, including UK Import VAT and duty charges, are the responsibility of the customer and must be covered in full.
If you'd like to exchange an item, please contact us and we will assist you further. Be sure to include a note with your order number, indicating that the return is for an exchange.

DISCLAIMER AND LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY
Syl’a’Vie Swimwear’s total liability for any claim however arising shall not exceed the price of the Goods supplied by Syl’a’Vie Swimwear to you, together with any postage costs incurred by you. Syl’a’Vie Swimwear shall not be liable for any consequential customer loss whether this arises from a breach of duty in contract or in any other way. Syl’a’Vie Swimwear cannot accept any liability for a failure to comply with specific instructions stated on the website.
Syl’a’Vie Swimwear does not limit in any way it's liability by law for death or personal injury caused by its negligence or breach of duty. Your statutory rights are not affected by this statement.
While Syl’a’Vie Swimwear uses reasonable endeavours to ensure that the information on this website is accurate and up-to-date, it does not give any warranty as to its accuracy or completeness and Syl’a’Vie Swimwear will not be responsible for any errors or omissions or for the results arising from the use of such information.
While Syl’a’Vie Swimwear takes all reasonable steps to ensure a fast and reliable service, it does not guarantee that your use of this website will be interruption or error free and will not be responsible for any disruption, loss of or corruption of any material in transit, or loss of or corruption of material or data when downloaded onto any computer system.
Further, Syl’a’Vie Swimwear will not be responsible nor liable for your use of any other websites which you may access via links within this website. Syl’a’Vie Swimwear does not control these websites and is not responsible for their content. Any such links are provided merely as a service to users of this website and their inclusion in this website does not constitute an endorsement by or affiliation with Syl’a’Vie Swimwear.
Syl’a’Vie Swimwear will not be liable to you or be deemed to be in breach of these terms and conditions or any other contract with you by reason of any delay in performing, or any failure to perform, any of its obligations in relation to the products ordered by you if the delay or failure was due to any cause beyond its reasonable control.
